Happy 2007.

It makes me kind of crazy to think about all of the things that are going to happen this year.

This year, so many of our close friends are going to graduate and move away, leaving us here in little old Boiling Springs. Nate's graduating this year, and going 2 hours away from me. This year, we become Seniors; we get to be on top of the school. We will finally win PowderPuff. I will play in my last high school field hockey game. This will be our last Christmas as high school students. We'll start considering, visiting, and applying to colleges. It will be our last chance to rock out the student section at the football games. We will make new friends, and we will lose old ones. Some of us will be able to buy cigarettes and lottery tickets, while some of us will finally be getting our licenses. A few of us will travel over the summer, and most of us will work to save money for college. We have to start getting ready for the rest of our lives. We will listen to new music, and go dancing at a few local clubs. We'll fight, and we'll love. We will rediscover those that mean the most to us. We will learn new things, whether by experience or education. We will have the time of our lives, and our lives will simply pass by the time. We will ready ourselves for the next chapter in the book of our lives.

Time, which changes people, does not alter the image we have retained of them.
